Larry,Kathy and Kelly, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Aunt Doris is and was always good too me. I cannot ever remember a time , being around her that she wasn’t a woman of integrity and character who cared. Aunt Doris is and will always be a Blessing , a Person whom I am glad too have known. Larry and Kathy, and family -- My sympathies. I will miss your mom, who was a special woman. She was kind, gentle, generous and was a good shopper and sharp dresser! Mike Bailey suggested to me that I introduce myself to your mom when I was looking for a Cornelius Cook for a Cornelius Today newspaper column. She shared the Hershey chocolate cake recipe, and then shared laughs, "her" pew in church, quiet conversations, the cake itself and much more. She always told me how much she loved you all and how proud she was of every one of her family.
