Alison Lavin
For many years Dot was a treasured member of the Shalom Class at Davidson United Methodist Church. Her gentle manner, wisdom, and compassion enriched our discussions and friendships. Quite often toward the end of a class discussion in which she had remained silent, she would offer a comment that wove all of the foregoing observations and opinions into a perfect insight or conclusion. We remember her with deep respect, great fondness and love.
