I am one of Dr. Hix’s former patients at Hix & Meletiou. I was always impressed by Dr. Hix’s kind spirit, and when he had to retire because of the ALS, he was often in my thoughts and prayers. Please know that I will be lifting your family up in prayer right now during this difficult time. I pray that God gives each one of you his comfort and peace. Love to you all...

Dr Steve I know that when those gates opened and you stepped inside.. your family that went before you were not the only ones waiting... please give my Dada a hug and Mr Larry and the other ones that no longer have to suffer at the hands of that horrible disease.

Our deepest and sincerest condolences to the family. Words alone can not ease the pain when grieving the loss of a love one. The Bible provides comfort during these difficult times. Revelation 21:3-4 states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". May God give you and your family comfort in your loving memories and in His promise that soon we will never experience losing our loved ones in death and we will be able to see them again once they resurrected as per John 5:28-29. May these words give you a new hope, with deepest sympathy and warmth of heart.

When John took a bite out of his jet ski on a Labor Day weekend, you dropped everything and were there to put his smile back together. We will never forget your kindness and love. What a great boss and friend Dr. Steve has been. I know that he didn’t like making people feel sad because of his illness, so I am trying to celebrate the fact that he “walked” into the arms of Jesus and he is now “running” on heavens streets of gold. Your family has been so courageous throughout this illness and have been living testimonies of your faith in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your example. Please know you are being thought of and prayed for. May you feel the strong arms of God hugging you at this time.

have been a small part of Steve’s life down here.
His life is a testimony for what awaits us. Amen!!!
As we were saying our goodbyes to our sweet daughter, we learned of the passing of Dr. Steve. He was Jennifer's dentist from elementary school through to adulthood. He and Debbie were our family dentists until their retirement. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
