He was born on January 13, 1944, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to the late Earl James Suter Jr. and the late Mary Flory Talarico. He served with honor in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966, and worked as an Estimator in the tobacco machinery industry for over 30 years. He was an amateur artist, specializing in capturing nature’s beauty through watercolors and oils. This pastime became his therapy as he fiercely fought lung and kidney cancer during the last three years of his life.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Association of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists of the World, M.F.P.A., Attn: Kate Adams, 2070 Peachtree Industrial Court, Atlanta, GA. 30341 or simply do a good deed for someone in his memory.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM, the 28th of October 2023, at the James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, NC 28078.
