Eleanor Hendrick Fleckenstein's Obituary
Eleanor Hendrick Fleckenstein, 89, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Monday, October 25, 2016 at Novant-Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville.
She was born on March 6, 1927 in Muskegon, MI. She was the daughter of the late G.D. “Dick” and Jean Broersma Hendrick, and wife of 62 years to the late A. Ray Fleckenstein. She is cherished for her limitless devotion to her family and
will be remembered as someone who always endeavored to make those around her feel good about themselves and who had an unfailing ability to see the fun in life.
Survivors include two sons, Tom Fleckenstein and wife Debbie of Abingdon, VA, and Mark Fleckenstein of Maynard, MA; one daughter, Mary Fleckenstein Andreoli and husband Mike of Huntersville; four grandchildren, David Andreoli and wife Parker of Charlotte, NC, Emily Andreoli of Nashville, TN, Hannah Fleckenstein of Ithaca, NY, and Sasha Fleckenstein of Boston, MA.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 2:00 PM, at Saint Peter by-the-Lake Episcopal Church in Denver, NC. The family will receive friends in the church parish hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Saint Peter by-the-Lake Episcopal Church at 8433 Fairfield Forest Rd, Denver, North Carolina 28037.
