Elena R Lopez's Obituary
Elena R. Lopez, age 102, passed away on March 22, 2026, at Lakeside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Huntersville, North Carolina, where she had resided for the past eleven months. Elena was born on September 1, 1923, in Buenos Aires, Argentina to Francisco Rodriguez and Caureana Cal.
Elena lived a long and full life. For many years, she resided in Denver, North Carolina, with her daughter, Elena Castro, and son-in-law, Hector Castro. She is survived by her two daughters, Elena Castro and Grace Franklin; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Elena's life will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 2:00 PM at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078.
