Elisabeth Anne Slater's Obituary
Ms. Elisabeth Anne Matthews Slater, 54, of Cornelius, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
Elisabeth was born in Kentucky and grew up with her family in the military, living across the U.S. and parts of Europe. She was an active member of the community and church, most recently St. Alban's in Davidson. She is survived by her daughters, Sydney Slater, 25 and Lauren Slater, 23; their father, Adam Slater, their step mother, Lauren Copeland; her parents, John H. Matthews and Nancy Matthews; her sister, Kim Valdyke; her brother, John C. Matthews, and endless loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Her family will hold a visitation at St. Alban's on Friday, September 22 at 7:00pm. Her Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 23 at 6:30pm at Fisher Farm Park; 21215 Shearer Rd.
