Sorrry to hear of Betty’s passing. She and her husband were friends of my family when they lived in Charlotte. I remember the family when we were all young! I see Betty’s photo in the obituary, and see her daughter Kathleen.

We LOVED Betty! She and Rod helped us preparing and serving meals at the Uptown Men’s Shelter many years ago - she was the cookie lady! They were faithful Mass goers at St. Mark in Huntersville, and years later I connected with her during my volunteer time at Ranson Ridge Assisted Living center. Whenever a nurse assistant brought her into the dining hall, it was like a queen was entering, with everyone saying hello and wishing her well. Betty was a great friend of mine for more than 35 years! Betty and Rod were patients at the dental office in Davidson where I worked and she became my "Avon lady". I enjoyed our visits every few weeks when my order was in! When she retired from Avon we still would continue to visit and talk for hours. She was a dear and special friend and I will miss her so much! I have so many memories to cherish. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. In sympathy and love,
