Ellen Ann Lockhart, 66, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020, at home with family by her side. She fought a long, but well lived battle with cancer. Ellen was born on October 11, 1953, in Copenhagen, Denmark to her late father, J Read Obituary
I have wonderful memories of Ellie. What a beautiful loving gracious woman. Always smiling and saying positive things to encourage others. I met Ellie through my roommate Misha but felt her to be my friend right away. My sympathy to her wonderful family. Heaven had a beautiful new angel but she will be missed here on earth but we are all the better for knowing her.
My dear cousin Ellen will be missed by us all here in New York.

Ellen was always getting us together for games and fun at family reunions.
She fought that cancer with all she had for many years. Now she is at rest with God's angels. We shared so many good times at our cousins beach weeks a few years back.. We share in sadness with her family. Our prayers are with you.
Ellie was a very special lady. I am so thankful to have called her my friend. She always had a smile and never complained. We had so many plans of things we wanted to do but God needed another Angel in Heaven. I will miss my dear friend.
I pray for all of her family that God will comfort them and give them the peace that passes all understanding.

I met Elly at WW probably 5-6 years ago. We talked and she shared her story. We just kind of hit it off. She would join us ladies when we’d go for lunches even after she stopped coming to the meetings.
I’ll always remember her positive attitude even after being told nothing more could be done. She tried for an experimental study and felt so hopeful.
I’ll always remember that beautiful smile and will always cherish the Christmas straw star she made for me.
May she rest in peace.
