I have not seen Elton for some time but he was more to me then just a friend. Due to circumstances in my family we became very close. I looked to him for advice and guidance and I grew up knowing I could always talk to him. We spent many years enjoying each other's company. I grew up next door and learned to pick horseshoes and for a few years we were on a winning bowling team together. He helped me get through the death of my father at the age of 49 and was always kind to my mother after my dad's death. I will never forget him he was a very special man in my life. I want to express my condolences to Mildred his wonderful wife who also was very good to me and made some great meals. We watched almost all the march madness ball games a couple of years and I was introduced to I W Harper Bourbon. I will never forget him. Jim McMahan
