Cecilia peacefully passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 78, in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 21, 1945, in Quito, Ecuador. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Victor Hugo Rosillo-Cevallos, and her four children, Jonathan Joseph Rosillo, Monica (Mo) Lucia Luke, Hugo Fernando Rosillo, and Carmen Soledad Rosillo, and her beloved brother, Jose Augusto Quintero.
Her captivating spirit touched the lives of all who truly knew her. With a heavy heart, we bid farewell to this cherished soul whose legacy will forever illuminate our memories. With a lighter heart, we eagerly await the day we join her in heaven, in eternal life with her, Christ, and our Heavenly Father.
Cecilia embodied immense grace, wisdom, and kindness. Her journey showcased humble yet unwavering strength and resilience, inspiring all who crossed her path. She exemplified compassion, radiating warmth and love to those seeking solace.
Throughout her life, Cecilia adorned the world with her creative brilliance, painting vivid landscapes on the canvas of our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be held at James Funeral Home on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 11 a.m. Per Cecilia's wishes, her remains will be cremated and scattered in the ocean, symbolizing her eternal connection with the beauty of nature.
