Eric Leon Harper's Obituary
Eric Leon Harper, 45 of Charlotte died June 29, 2021 at his home. He was born on July 8, 1975 in Georgia to Melvin Harper and Kathy Marshall.
Eric attended the Irwin Co. School system. Eric also attended Forsyth Tech in Winston-Salem. Eric later went to truck driving school. Eric was a husband and father who loved his children. He would do what he had to do as a father. Eric loved his wife Crystal. Eric would talk about all the great things she did on her job. Eric loved sports and one would say. It was a legacy for him anytime Eric went to a game to talk about how much he enjoyed the game. Eric worked at McDonald's maintenance department for 10 years. Eric shared his love with his family and friends. Eric will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife Crystal Harper; sons, Eric Harper, Jr.; daughters, Emya Harper and Olivia Harper; siblings, Dante, Regina, Melvin, Larry Jr., Tasha and Tameka , Donta and Corey Harper of Seattle Washington. Regena and Norman Brunt of Huntersville, NC. Larry Lee Marshall Jr. And Tasha Spann of Winston Salem, NC Tamika and Vince Wallace of Valdosta Georgia. Melvin Harper Jr. Of Ocilla Georgia; also step-mother Debra Harper.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday, July 8 at James Funeral Home. Viewing will be 11-12:00 prior. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live streamed at:
