in honor of Eric.
This was very sad news to hear. I was the German teacher for both of Eric's children throughout their entire high school careers. I remember Eric and his wife always making the effort to stop by my classroom without reason except to brag about their children, and chit-chat. I loved hearing about the Scout trips, the kids' German summer camp, Disney vacations, and even his daughter's endeavors after high school, and especially Teresa's engagement. I loved how proud of his family he was and committed to their happiness and their futures. I'm sure he will be missed by many.
