Ethel Wilson's Obituary
Ethel J. Pinyan Wilson
November 8, 1924- June 7, 2016
Ethel joined her savior and loved ones on June 7, 2016. She graduated from Derita High School in 1942 and was a member of Oakgrove Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She is survived by children: Judy Edwards and husband Sam, Ronnie Wilson and wife Andrea; Patty Blackwell; Lou Anne Lynch and and husband Bob, and Cathy Thompson: 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren: Brothers: Earl Pinyan, A.G. Pinyan, Otis (Buck) Pinyan: Sisters: Dixie Kendall, Alma Horne and Ann Stone. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter (Bobbie Jo), Siblings: John Sherman Pinyan, II, Pheanis Pinyan (Chick), Patrick Pinyan, Floyd Pinyan, Louise Rich and Maxine Price.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to Oak Grove Methodist Church. A special thank you to Hospice of Cabarrus County and all the staff of Huntersville Oaks and The Parc at Sharon Amity who became family to all of us during her time there.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, June 11 at Oak Grove United Methodist Church with visitation 10-11 prior. Burial will be private at the Oak Grove UMC Cemetery.
