Eugene Omax Wallace's Obituary
Eugene Omax Wallace, 82, of Denver, NC, died April 16, 2011 at the Brian Center in Mooresville, NC. A memorial service will be held at Lakeshore Presbyterian Church in Denver on Monday April 18, 2011 at 7:00pm with visitation 1 hour prior to the service.
Gene was born on September 17, 1928 in Gaston County to the late Ansley and Blanche Wallace. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and retired from Union Carbide after many years of service as a Foreman. He was a charter member of Lakeshore Presbyterian Church in Denver.
He is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Cherry Wallace and survived by children Michael and Iris Wallace, Marilyn and Edward Payne all of Denver, NC; and Vicki and Tim Barton of Salt Lake City, Utah. Grandchildren Crystal and Bobby Alley, Amber and Matt Cannon, Timothy and Caryann Barton, Allison and Donovan Rogers, Leah, Alexa, Jason, Austin and Zelalem Wallace; great-grandchildren Kelcey and Kasen Alley, Dawson, Grayson, Matson and Hudson Cannon, Garrison and Justin Barton, Phillip Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Children's Ministry of Lakeshore Church 8083 Hope Drive Denver, NC 28037.
