Eunice Vincent's Obituary
Eunice Ferguson Vincent, 90 of Charlotte died January 24, 2021. She was born on November 26, 1930 in Mecklenburg County to the late Walter and Margaret Ferguson. She was a girl scout leader for over 20 years. Mrs. Vincent served as chapter president of the Nutrition Association. She retired from C.M.S. after 34 years at the age of 81.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rufus Marvin Vincent and sons, Steven Vincent and Richard Vincent.
Survivors include her children, Mark Vincent, Margaret Shuford and Grace Johnson; and siblings, Betty Shinn and Mary Rankin; 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church, 8501 Bellhaven Blvd. Charlotte, NC 28214.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 29 at James Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-2 PM prior. Burial will follow at Hopewell Presbyterian Church.
