Evelyn was my cousin. Because I live in Maryland, I haven't seen her for many years .
When I was a little girl, my parents would often leave me , when they went on vacation) with Aunt Ethel and Uncle Les at their house in Remington. I loved my visits ,because they had such a large family, there was always activity. Of all six of the Beebe kids, Evelyn was the closest to me in age. So I played with her and her neighborhood friends when I visited. Eventhough she was about five years older than me, she didn't seem to mind me tagging along.
I am sorry to hear of her passing and extend my thoughts and prayers to Bety Ann, Danny and the entire Beebe and Cockey family.

Evelyn was a wonderful person and we were blessed to have her in our community as part of our family even if it was for such a short period of time. She will be fondly remembered by all the ladies in the card and game group as they remember her quick wit and sense of humor. Thank you for allowing us to have the opportunity to know such a great lady.
