“Bud”
Mr. Lisk, 76, of Huntersville, died April 15, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in Huntersville. He was born on March 18, 1936 in Mecklenburg County to the late Howard and Bessie Lisk.
Bud loved working in the yard and tinkering around his garage. He was an avid Nascar fan and will be greatly missed by his family as well as his friends known as the “Hardees gang”.
Survivors include his wife Aileen Black Lisk; son, Donnie and wife Donja of Ft. Mill, SC; daughter, Anna Parks and husband Keith of Huntersville; sister Emily Little and husband Randy of Charlotte; uncle Brice Lisk of Charlotte; sister-in-law, Betty Jones, and 7 grandchildren, Dillon, Danielle, Davis, Dakota, Caleb, Olivia and Natalie; nephews Rodney and Marc and niece Donna.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Hopewell Presbyterian Church with Rev. Allan Purtill and Rev. Donald Lisk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7-8:30 PM at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr. Huntersville, NC 28078.
