Frances Archer's Obituary
Mrs. Frances Keith Archer,84, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 17th.
Frances was a native of Huntersville, NC, and lived there her whole life. She was the oldest of seven children, and second mom to all she knew and loved. Things that brought her joy were her husband Harold, three children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She loved and adored her kids, always put them first, and strived to spend as much time as she could with each one. She loved baking, gardening, the beach, the mountains, and spending time with family.
She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, then as her family grew, she moved to Huntersville Presbyterian Church. She was an active member for many years, but her favorite role by far was the children’s nursery. She showed her love through her awesome baking skills.
She was preceded in death by her a parents, Everette and Lenora Keith, her brother, Larry Keith, and brother in law, Calvin Matthews.
Mrs. Archer is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Harold Archer, their children Dana Shaw (Barry), Rhonda Zavodny (Chad), Tim Archer (Troy), and grandchildren Tommy (Emmary), Kyle, and Jason Shaw, Dylan, Brayden, and Cameron Zavodny, and one great grandchild Aleksander Shaw.
Graveside service will be held at Huntersville Presbyterian Church cemetery on Friday, July 23rd at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Huntersville Presbyterian Church, payable to HPC Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 313, Huntersville NC 28070.
