Frances was a dear person, always more interested in hearing about what was going on in others lives than in talking about herself. She was a hopeless optimist—always overlooking the negatives and finding a way to make the best of a situation. She freely shared her life and her love of life with all who came to her home and watched the display of nature out of her “picture window.” There was always room at the table for anyone who stopped by. Oh, the wisdom and the insights she gave me! Her love of Christ permeated the life she lived. I am better for having known Frances, and I will miss her presence in my life here on this earth. But one day, Frances, we will meet again at the throne!
