Frances Jeanette Free's Obituary
Frances “Jeanette “ Free, 71, of Davidson, passed away , Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
A native of Aiken County, SC., Mrs. Free was the daughter of John Wesley Edmonds and Trannis Bernice Cone. She attended Independence Hill Baptist Church of Huntersville. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. She never met a stranger and loved to talk. Jeanette was a devoted and caring Nurse and retired from the Brian Center of Charlotte.
Mrs. Free is survived by her mother, her daughter, Dadre Garris and husband, Glenn, daughter, Tania Roof and husband, Dewey, son, Frank “Chip” Free, Jr. and wife, Sky, daughter, Jennifer King and husband, Craig, grandchildren; Kaleigh Garris Blevins and husband, Brent, Karlyn Garris, Glenn-Allen Garris, Emma Roof, Adelyn Roof, Kingston Free, Emmett Free, Keller King, Lawson King, and Farah Jaye King, sisters, Marilene Edmonds Abear, Patricia Bowen and husband, Ricky, and brother, Rickey Carter and wife, Vicky.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Independence Hill Baptist Church with The Reverend Todd Marlin officiating. Committal services will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until service time Sunday at the church.
