Frances Osborn's Obituary
Frances Pender Osborn, 92, of Huntersville died November 7, 2021. She was born in Mecklenburg County March 6, 1929. She was the daughter of William Luther Pender and Rose Etta Christenbury Pender. She was a LPN and retired from Presbyterian Hospital in May 1994 after many years of nursing. She also served as church pianist at Cornelius Baptist and Lake Norman Baptist for many years. Mrs. Osborn was a member of Cornelius Baptist Church until 1985. She joined Lake Norman Baptist in February of 1985. She was an active member for many years. She was the first woman deacon to be elected at Lake Norman Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, November 10 at James Funeral Home with burial to follow at Gilead ARP Church. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm prior. For those unable to attend in person, the 3pm service will be streamed on: https://www.facebook.com/JamesFuneralHome/
Her husbands Robert Lee Osborn and Joseph Ambrose Key preceded her in death as well as 9 brothers and 5 sisters.
Survivors include daughter, Peggy Barnette and husband Allen of Leland, NC; son, Mark Osborn and wife Jamie of Huntersville; grandchildren, Nathaniel, Jonathan and Matthew; and 6 great-grandchildren.
