Frances Perry's Obituary
Frances Shaver Perry, age 80, passed away at Olde Knox Commons on Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
Frances was born to Glenn and Lillie Shaver on February 10, 1938, and was raised in Lenoir City, TN. Frances worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years. She enjoyed helping others, working in her yard, and being involved in her church Mt. Harmony Baptist church where she was a member for over 40 years. Frances dedicated herself to being a very caring and supportive mother throughout the years. Her commitment to and love of her friends and family were foremost in her life. She was always the first one to offer to help a friend or family member in need.
Frances is survived by her son, Kevin, and his wife, Kelly, and her precious grandson Jake. She is also survived by sisters; Ruby Herrell of Maryville, TN, and Virgie Monger of Lenoir City, TN. Brothers; Gene Shaver, Fred Shaver, and his wife, Ernestine, of Lenoir City, TN. She also leaves many several nieces and nephews. Preceding Frances in death were sisters; Lucille Hair, Lois Shaver, and Juanita Shaw. Brothers; Charles, Walter, Glenn Jr., and John.
The family extends their gratitude to her caregivers at Olde Knox Commons and Ranson Ridge, especially the love and support of Carrie, Angela, and Cathy.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pat Summitt Alzheimers Foundation. Services will be held in Knoxville, TN.
