Francine Walshin's Obituary
Francine Walshin, 79, of Davidson, NC died August 9, 2011 at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House. She was born in New York City on April 28, 1932 to the late Lewis and Mary Walshin. Francine was an inspiration to many people. In her later years she wrote for Davidsonnews.net and was a very active blogger (Franschallenge.wordpress.com).
She is survived by her son, Robert Klein of Davidson; daughter Katie Martinez of Davidson; brother Paul Walshin and wife Sheila of Jackson, NJ; and granddaughter, Andrea Martinez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Levine & Dickson Hospice House, 11500 Vanstory Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078.
A memorial gathering will be held at Francine’s home, 10873 Store House Ct. Davidson, NC 28036 from 2-8PM Thursday, August 11, 2011.
