Frank Keaton's Obituary
Frank Colla Keaton, 58, of Charlotte, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was born in South Carolina on July 14, 1962, the son of Mary Roberts, and the late Colla Keaton.
Frank worked for the City of Charlotte/Charlotte Water. He was a beloved son, brother, and uncle, and he was also a loving companion to his fiancé Alice Watts. He loved trains, bowling, and playing pool, and was an avid fan of NASCAR’s Jimmie Johnson. In his spare time he enjoyed building things, whether it was a variety of models, or most recently birdhouses. All who met Frank were left with an interesting and amusing “Frank” story. He was an unforgettable person, whose happiness and light will be greatly missed.
In addition to his mother, Frank is survived by his companion, Alice; brothers, Denny Keaton, Don Keaton (Carolyn), Eric Keaton, Ron Eaton (Linda); and sisters, Patsy McManus, Anna Keaton, Anisa Keaton, Lisa Keaton, and Linda Howell (Jason). He was preceded in death by his father, his sister Barbara Lynn, and his brother Denny Keaton, of Kansas City.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 4, 3:00 PM, at James Funeral Home in Huntersville. There will be a 1 hour visitation prior to the funeral from 2:00-3:00 PM. The burial will be private.
