Frankie Mae Umphenour's Obituary
Frankie Mae Bolls Umphenour, 85 of Charlotte NC went to be with the Lord March 23, 2019. She was surrounded by her family at her home. She is preceded in death by her mother Ada Stapleton, father John Bolls and brother Hurban Bolls.
Frankie was born in Merkel, TX and lived most her life in California where she loved to attend the Angels baseball games. She and her husband moved to Charlotte in 2005. Frankie loved to bowl, watch the Panthers play football and attend church. She was immensely proud of her family and she leaves many wonderful memories for them.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years Laurence Umphenour - daughter Rhonda Bland and son Michael Bland (Joy). She was blessed with 4 grandchildren Corey Middleton, Melissa Bland-Williams, Evan Bland and Hayden Bland and 3 great grandchildren James Kweiser, Tyler Recca and Kreegan Varela.
Frankie never liked being the center of attention and per her wishes there will be no public services. The family wishes to thank the Hospice angels that took care of her during her last weeks. Donations to the American Cancer Society or Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region are welcome
