Frankie White's Obituary
Charles Franklin “Frankie” White, passed away September 24, 2022, after a lengthy illness.
Born October 12, 1944, in Iredell County, NC to the late Bill and Annie Howard White, Frankie spent most of his young adult life in Davidson and Cornelius. He graduated from North Mecklenburg High School.
Frankie loved to make people laugh and enjoyed golf, fishing, softball and dirt track racing. He won multiple golf tournaments during his amateur career. Frankie was a faithful Deacon, teacher and committee member of Statesville Road Baptist Church for many years and cherished his faith and salvation through Jesus Christ.
He enjoyed an extensive career that included J.N. Pease Associates and retired as the Director of Public Works for the Town of Mooresville in 2007.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jimmy White, and Jeanette Philemon, his sister.
He is survived by and remembered with love by his wife, Laura Burris White, his son, Jerry White (Holly) and daughter Renee Story (Scott) and grandchildren Brooke Story, Brady Story and Amanda Goulart.
Receiving of friends will be held on Wednesday, September 28, at 10 a.m., funeral following at 11 at James Funeral Home of Huntersville, 10520 Arahova Drive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Statesville Road Baptist Church in Charlotte.
