Fred Duggan's Obituary
Henry Fred Duggan, 74, of Cornelius, NC and Sherrills Ford, died March 7, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital in
Huntersville. He was born in Polk County, TN on April 12, 1937 to the late Claude and Georgia Duggan. He served
in the Army and Air Force. He was a welder by trade and enjoyed traveling across the US, including working on the Alaskan Pipeline.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Phyllis Winkler Duggan; daughter, Beverly Duggan of Cornelius; sisters, Diana Elliott (John) of Mooresville and Vickie Duggan of Georgetown, SC; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his son Anthony Wayne “Tony” Duggan and daughter Teresa Warlick; brothers, Robert (Bobby) Duggan and Charles (Buster) Duggan; sisters, Mildred Goodrum and Ruth (Mousie) Sossamon.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Saturday, March 10, 2012 at New Beginnings Moravian Church, 201 Seagle St., Huntersville, with Rev. Chris Thore officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior at the church.
