Fred Kerr's Obituary
Fred T. Kerr, 73, of Mount Holly, died Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his daughter, Lauren, son, Jeffrey and his wife, Billie, former spouse, Cherry, two grandchildren, Morgan and Jacob and brother, Michael and his wife, Debra.
In his early years he served abroad in the Air Force and later graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from UNCC where he was a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity.
Mr. Kerr had a passion for offshore fishing, testing his expertise in several tournaments and delighting in taking frequent trips with his son, brother and grandson. During retirement he also enjoyed traveling, attending auctions and gardening.
A gathering to celebrate Fred’s life will be announced in the near future.
