Freda Hartsell Frazier's Obituary
Freda Elaine Hartsell Frazier passed away November 15, 2024 at Novant Hospital, Charlotte, NC. at the age of 94.
She was born on January 28, 1930, in Union County, North Carolina. Freda was the daughter of the late Fred Hartsell and Eula Benton Hartsell. She was a graduate of Harrisburg High School and Kings Business College. Freda was a long-time member of Newell Presbyterian Church and more recently a member of Back Creek ARP Church.
Freda retired in 1982 from Unocal Corporation after 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Jackson Frazier, brothers, Cliff Hartsell, Jerry Hartsell, and sister, Janice Taylor.
Freda is survived by her daughter, Elaine Frazier Prophet (Bill), grandson Chris Prophet (Erin), great granddaughters, Zoe Prophet, Savannah Prophet and great grandson, Ethan Prophet.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 19 at 2 o'clock at Newell Presbyterian Church, 1500 Rocky River Road, West, Charlotte, North Carolina.
