Freddie White's Obituary
Freddie White was born May 1, 1937 to the late Retha and Ernest White in Bladenboro, NC. After a long illness and a faithful fight,
he was called home on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Huntersville Health and Rehab in Huntersville, NC.
While born in Bladenboro, he was raised in Elizabethtown, NC and educated in the public-school system. In his early 20’s he relocated to New Jersey where he worked and retired from the trucking industry. Freddie never married but he had one daughter with the late Mable Ruffin.
Freddie loved his family and fishing. He was so knowledgeable, smart, caring, giving and very understanding. Everyone loved him.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Retha and Ernest White, brothers, Preston, James and Louis, sisters, Doris and
Mary Ann White.
He leaves to cherish his memories, daughter, Sylvia Ruffin, two granddaughters, Shana Ruffin and Naja King, brother, Albert White, aunt, Rose Lasane, Special niece, Valerie White, nephews, Dane and Gary White and a host of other relatives and friends.
His memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017, in the Chapel of James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Drive, Huntersville, NC 28087. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
