Frieda S. Dudzik's Obituary
Frieda S. Dudzik, formerly of Wheeling, IL, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Carillon Assisted Living in Mooresville, NC.
She was born on September 5, 1923 in Chicago, IL., daughter of the late Joseph Stybleski and Stella Rucinski Stybleski and sister of the late Richard Stybleski. She was predeceased by her husband, Florian Dudzik in 1997.
In her earlier years, she worked as a cashier at many local grocery chains and more recently at the job that she loved, offering customer samples at various groceries and wholesale clubs. She will especially be remembered for her smile, quip wit and ability to always make you feel welcome.
Frieda is survived by her sons, Lawrence Dudzik and his wife, Christine of Stanley, NC and Florian Dudzik and his wife, Elizabeth of Hoffman Estates, IL; five grandchildren, Steven Dudzik and his wife, Lisa, Laurie D. Jones and her husband, Jeffrey, Brian Dudzik and his wife, Amanda, Jason Dalke and his wife, Joelle, Jacki D. Itter and her husband, Karl and ten great grandchildren, Darian, Gianna, Brandon, Justin, Thayer, Greer, Mackayla, Connor, June and Jemma.
A Memorial Mass will be held on February 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Aphonsus Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Heights, IL 60070.
