I Love and Miss you, Nana!!
So sorry to learn of Gail's passing! What a wonderful person she was! She was smart, funny, clever and knowledgeable about many things - especially daylilies! I send prayers of comfort to Tom & their big family. It was a blessing to know Gail and I will always be glad our paths crossed.
When we first started in daylilies, one of our favorite memories was visiting Gail at her Cat’s Paw Daylily Garden. She had so many beds full of gorgeous flowers. We always enjoyed visiting with Gail and watching her cats playing as well.
When we decided to open our own sales garden, Gail was a great mentor. She was always generous, patient and kind with her knowledge and her time. We will always be grateful to her and we will miss her.
Our hearts go out to Tommy and the family.
I met Gail and Tommy when my daughter & I joined the Piedmont Daylily Club a few years ago. I was impressed when I learned that she was the hybridizer who created CAT DANCER. In her honor I will add her daylily to my garden. She will be remembered. My deepest sympathies to Tommy and his family.

Tommy and Gail and i go back a long way. In 1990 I went to a daylily show in Charlotte and met Tommy Moore and Steve Baldwin. They invited me to the next club meeting. And that's how my love of daylilies began. Throughout those years, Tommy and Gail have been such active and loyal members of our Piedmont Daylily Club. i will cherish CAT DANCER even more now that Gail has passed. May she rest in peace.

One of the sweetest, most caring, and giving ladies. I met Gail when we were in nursing school. Then met her again years later when we wanted to buy some daylilies. She was our mentor when we started out growing daylilies. Gail and Tommy came to help us groom our garden when it was on tour for Regional. Gail and Tommy were always there for our club's flower show and helping with placement. Know for her daylily 'Cat Dancer'; Gail was more often than not, on the head table when the judging was over. A true friend and will be missed so greatly.
