Geneva Schmidt's Obituary
Geneva Beckham Schmidt,102, of Davidson, passed from this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017. She was born on February 6, 1915, in Navarro County, Texas, to John and Lola White Beckham.
Geneva lived a long, happy, healthy life. She was an avid golfer, with a hole in one, bridge player and gardener. Some of her last words were, “be kind.”
She was pre-deceased by her parents, her beloved husband, Earl; much loved grandson, James Earl Pierotti, and siblings, Marvin Beckham, Ann Connor, Evelyn Luther, Charles Beckham and Margaret Alexander.
Geneva is survived by a brother, Haywood Connelly Beckham, of Abilene, Texas and her daughter, Lu Pierotti of the home and a favorite nephew, James Alexander and family of Hutto, Texas.
Lu and her family would like to thank their many friends for their help and support. Also, Hospice of Iredell County for their loving care of Geneva during her final days.
A Memorial Service will be held at James Funeral Home on Saturday, November 18th, 2017, at 12:00 pm. A gathering will be held at the home immediately after the service.
