Gennaro Marletta's Obituary
Gennaro Marletta, loving husband, father and brother, 83 of Huntersville passed away May 14 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 26, 1934 in Italy to the late Clemente and Virgilia Marletta.
Survivors include his wife Pasqualina; sons, Gennaro, Jr (wife Lynn) of Lancaster, PA and Carmine (wife Maria) of Bronx, NY; daughters, Virginia Luttrell (husband Richard) of Huntersville and Anna Nix (husband Robert) of Huntersville; siblings, Rose Maglione of Jackson, NY and Antonette Russo of Italy and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at James Funeral Home.
The funeral mass will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 19 at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. stjude.org
