I’m saddened of Dodson’s passing, I first met him when he came to Charlotte with First Union…I worked under Dodson for several years, and it was a real pleasure working with him and knowing him. Many times we would pile in his big car and head for one of his favorite places for a meal, even inviting all of us into his home. All the time expounding us on his many years in banking, and on life in general. He certainly wore his heart on his sleeve. My condolences to his family.

Dear family of Mr. Mathias. I am so sorry that this strong, interesting, smart man is no longer with us all. Accept my deepest condolences. He was the heart of any company, the most positive man out there! He loved life so much and fought for it all the time! It is so unfortunate that he left. Too soon.
