Gerald Nall's Obituary
Gerald “Rodney” Nall, 79, of Mooresville died August 11, 2019, at Autumn Care of Cornelius. He was born on October 18, 1939, in Muleshoe, Texas, to the late James Eugene Nalland Cecil Belle Wilson Nall. The middle of three boys, Rodney loved spending time with his brothers, Duane and Eugene. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Business Management and worked in sales for Hershey’s Chocolate for 33 years. His children and grandchildren fondly recall getting to sample the new chocolates he would bring home before they hit the market. Rodney had many hobbies including gardening, painting, reading, writing and self-publishing numerous books and skits, watching Westerns, and performing with his theatre troupe, The Serendipity Players, which he founded. He also loved any way he could spend time with Linda, his wife of 56 years.He was dearly beloved by many and will always be remembered for his unwavering faith in God, his commitment to his marriage & family, his sense of humor and hearty chuckle, and his love of storytelling.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Wilson Nall; daughter, Kim Collins and husband Mark of Cornelius; son, Gregory Nall and wife Marlo of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Cameron (Laura) Collins, Karson (Austin) Moore, Garnett and Melody Nall, and one great-granddaughter, Eden Collins.

Per his request, the family is holding a private memorial.
