Gloria Williams' Obituary
Gloria Dean Williams was born August 8, 1941 in Durham North Carolina, Raised in Baltimore Maryland by her parents Lila & Arthur Harvey. Gloria was one of 9 siblings and is survived by Nettie Elizabeth Brockington, Barry Eugene Helms, Kenneth Wade Helms, and Antionette Helms McDonald.
She has been married to Willie R. Williams, Senior for over 50 years. Together they raised over 10 children. She is survived by Linda, Angela, Sonya, Willie JR , Schan, Paul, Lolita, Myra, Phillip, Nicholas, and Tessa. Gloria also known as “Mama” is survived by over 20 grand and 10 great grandchildren.
She was known for her great cooking, passionate personality, her faithfulness to God and her church. We all know Gloria did not leave her husband's side, they traveled near and far throughout the years for various reasons including the feast, holy days, and betterment of their family. Gloria and Willie truly honored their marriage in sickness and in health.
We will miss her dearly.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 11, 4:00 PM at James Funeral Home.
