Harold Newton Herron's Obituary
Harold Herron, 77, of Huntersville, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023. He was born on December 29, 1945, in Charlotte, NC to the late Clifton and Margaret Herron.
Harold was an active fisherman and hunter. Always on the go, Harold loved the outdoors, especially the beach. When he wasn't hunting or fishing you could find him with his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brother Joe Clifton Herron (J.C.), and sisters, Marie Harvey and Ellen Herron. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Herron; their children, Cameron Herron (Jennifer) and Melody Morrison; sisters, Vie Sills (Bob), Irene Bowman, and Rhonda Brannon (Tony); brothers, Tim Herron and Tommy Herron; grandchildren, Brandon (Morgan), Hannah (Thomas), Cameron (Chloe), Connor (Mckenzie), Elijah, Grayson, Marie, Noah, and Colton; great grandchildren, Elle, Baylor, Harper, and Nash; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, from 5:00-7:00 PM at James Funeral Home, of Huntersville, for the visitation. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the interment following at Northlake Memorial Gardens in Huntersville.
