Harold Jolly's Obituary
Harold Walton Jolly, 87 of Concord died March 17, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 19, 1933 in Mecklenburg County to the late Harry and Alma Ruth Jolly. He was married for 58 years to Jane Tilson Jolly the love of his life who preceded him in death in 2014.
He served in the US Army. He loved antique tractors, woodworking , and gardening as well as coaching and playing baseball and softball. He loved to share stories and make people laugh. Most of all he just loved people.
Survivors include his daughters, Anita Mason of Mooresville and Amanda Hager of Concord; grandchildren, Dauthard and Amanda(wife),Harrison and Anna(wife) Mason, Christopher, Alaina, Frannie and Suzy Hager,great grandchildren Lane and Emma Rae, and Lexia who also precedes him in death.
In addition to his wife, children, Joseph and Alice preceded him in death and siblings: Robert Franklin Jolly, John Fairchild Jolly, Chunkie Cook and Frances Elson.
Memorials can be made to Huntersville Presbyterian Church.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, March 28 at Huntersville Presbyterian Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Doug Ferguson will officiate the service.
