Harold Frank Norris' Obituary
Harold Frank Norris, 80, of Charlotte passed away November 24, 2024. Frank was born in Asheville, NC to the late Harold Frank Norris, Sr. and Jeannette Lathan Norris. He graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School and attended Clemson University.
Frank operated a boat repair business where he was very well known for his expertise in his field and highly respected for his fairness to his customers. He was an avid golfer and had the privilege of playing on many of the PGA Championship courses.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Joyce Dunn Norris; brothers Don Greene, Steve Greene (Cynthia) of Aiken, SC, Stuart Greene (Kendell) of Burnsville, NC; sisters-in-law Carolyn Elliotte, Kathy McKee; brother-in-law Jack Byers and many nieces and nephews that he was so proud of and loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Wilton and Hazel Dunn and sisters-in-law Alma Hoke Greene and Peggy Dunn Byers.
A memorial service will be held at Cook’s Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3413 Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road, Charlotte, NC at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 30 with visitation to follow the service in the church’s Fellowship Hall.
