Harrison Tapp-Hughes' Obituary
Harrison James Tapp-Hughes, 23, of Charlotte died March 28, 2024. He was born on July 29, 2000 to Craig Hughes and Hazel Tapp.
Harrison was both an accomplished chess player as well as a video game player. He was passionate about Japanese anime and hip hop music. Harrison also played a variety of sports including tennis, basketball and soccer.
Outside of his personal hobbies, Harrison also enjoyed working with younger children both as a math tutor and as a summer camp counselor. He developed strong bonds with boys and girls by breaking down tasks into small, easy-to-understand steps.
In addition to his parents, Hazel and Craig, he is survived by his brother Nicholas.
A service will be held Sunday, September 22 at 1:00 at James Funeral Home. A reception will follow.
