After almost a life time of knowing Havolyn we missed a few years of keeping in touch while deep into our family raising years. We reunited about 12 years ago and enjoyed our phone conversations as well as playing bridge for many years. We were in two bridge clubs. Of course she was an excellent player but never made anyone feel bad about their playing. I will deeply miss her and I do know she fought a good fight. Now she is at rest and out of pain. Sandy, Chip, Carolyn. Reid I know how much she dearly loved her family especially the granddaughters. I am so sorry I can not be at the funeral. My thoughts and prayers to all!

I met Lyn about 10 years ago. In the first minute, I knew I was with one of the most fascinating women I’d ever know. Her knowledge of Charlotte’s past and her experiences in shaping some of Charlotte’s history kept me enthralled. I will miss her but I’m grateful to have known her the time I did.
I have so many wonderful memories of "Aunt Lyn" since becoming friends with Julie at the age of 16 and adopting Carolyn as a 2nd mother. Lyn was always there with a smile and love....and the title "Miss Manners" was a term of endearment she loved. My very deepest sympathy to her family, her beloved sister "Mom Carolyn", Julie, and Corbett. Love...
