Helen Mary Othling's Obituary
Mrs. Helen Mary Othling, 89, of Huntersville, passed away Monday, October 14, 2024.
Helen was a native of Cincinnati, OH and moved to NC with her husband William, for retirement. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and their Rosary Group, and the ladies Red Hat Society. Helen enjoyed the outdoors, walking (a lot!), boating, working in the yard and spending time with her friends, family and the loving staff and residents of Ranson Ridge Assisted Living Facility and the staff of Via Health Partners.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara M. Eimermacher, her husband, William (“Bill”) L. Othling, Jr. (Col USAF Ret), daughter, Claire Othling St. Onge and her son, David P. Othling.
Helen is survived by her brother John P. Eimermacher (Mary Jo) of Cincinnati, OH, son Stephen Othling (Terri), grandchildren Andrew Othling (Megan) and Jennifer Thomas (Matthew) of Albuquerque, NM, Kelsey and Carly Othling of Baton Rouge, LA, and her great grandchildren, Marshall, Vivian, Blake, James, Conor and Eleanor, of Albuquerque, and many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Huntersville and her interment will immediately follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens. A catered reception will follow at James Funeral Home Community Room.
