Jackie Gene Helms' Obituary
Mr. Jackie (Jack) Helms, 78, of Charlotte, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026.
Jack retired from the Army National Guard in 1992 and was involved in various careers throughout his life. He wanted everyone to know that he loved Chuck's Grill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burl and Yolande Helms, and brother, Rick Helms.
Jack is survived by his children; Shane Helms (Becky) of Cramerton, NC, and Jaimie McConnell (Bradley) of Charlotte, NC, and grandchildren; Cody Helms, Ryan Helms, Ainsley McConnell, and Caleb McConnell.
The family will receive friends at a private memorial.
