Russell Onofrio
Jim and I went to High School together and had a friendship for almost 50 years. In fact, there was about 10 friends from high school that over the years stayed in touch. Starting in high school, we had our traditions, like playing cards every Sunday night at Jim’s house. No one would ever miss a game, people would cancel dates, leave family functions early and even plan weekend trips to return for Sunday Night Cards. It is something I will always remember and was a big part of my life.
I have always known Jim to be fun loving and eager to try new adventures. He had a huge heart and would do anything to help his friends. No one didn’t like Jim and he will be hugely missed.
On behalf of the Onofrio family, I would like to wish our deepest sympathy to the Corvino family. Jim will always be in my heart and knowing him has made a positive impact on my life.
