My heart aches to know I won’t see pastor Jim anymore at church…He was someone I saw as a strong and steady father figure in the faith…I admired his quiet kindness and concern..I pray for his family who remain and know they can take comfort partly in knowing he has gone ahead of us and we’ll all see him again.
So sad to lose Jim at such a young age. He was a fine man and a dedicated man of God
I am so surprised and saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I went to FCHS with him and had seen him not too long ago at a reunion. Jim was always such a gentle and kind soul, and reading his obituary he certainly had a LIFE WELL LIVED. I will be praying for his family during this time, but confident they have many great memories to hold on to.
Jim always had a good word to share. I enjoyed our conversations because they were always on a positive note. I admired his sincerity and devotion to what he believed in. He made me feel comfortable in my new church and he and his lovely wife and family were always so gracious to me.
I'll miss you, Brother. Thank you for bringing me closer to God.

Jim was very dedicated to his work and coordinated many care groups to assist those in need at HARP. He will be greatly missed. We at HARP all loved him.
