James McConnell's Obituary
James “Jim” Otis McConnell, 77 of Mooresville, formerly of Huntersville died December 13, 2020. He was born on October 29, 1943 to the late Glenn and Frances McConnell.
Jim worked for General Motors and was co-owner of M&S Truck Service and owned McConnell Grading Service. Jim was a drag racer in the 1960s and 70s.
He was preceded in death by his son Allen; brothers, Bill, Bob, Pete and Butch McConnell.
Survivors include his wife Diane; sons, Jason (Connie) and Jimmy (Lady); grandchildren, Samantha, Allison, and Wyatt McConnell; and brother Roger and sister Ann.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 19 at Ramah Presbyterian Church in Huntersville (Please park across the street on the church side and walk to the cemetery).
Memorials may be made to the Ramah Presbyterian Church Cemetery Fund.
