James Rodney Readling's Obituary
James Rodney Readling, 69, of Davidson, died November 11, 2019. He was born on August 20, 1950 in Iredell County to Martha Ann Washam Readling and the late James Madison Readling. Rodney loved spending time with his family. He spent his free time fishing and doing woodworking projects in his shop.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Marti Estes and siblings, Barry and Lynne. Survivors include his wife Betty Sue Readling; daughter, Susanne Warshawsky and husband Marc of Davidson; brother, Bryan Readling of Davidson; son-in-law, Eric Estes; grandchildren, Bryce, Hayden, Emma and Camryn and his dog, Willow.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association or Ramah Presbyterian Church.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 16 at Ramah Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall. Burial will be private in the church cemetery.
