Jean Russell Seidner's Obituary
Jean Elsie Seidner, 89, of Huntersville, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Presbyterian Hospital, Huntersville, NC after a brief illness. Jean was born in Youngstown, OH on April 13, 1924. Jean is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Galen Seidner Jr. and Kim Seidner, a brother James Russell of Youngstown, OH and a sister Grace Thomas of Naples, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Galen Seidner Sr., her parents Myron and Mildred Russell and two brothers Richard and David Russell.
She lived in Poland, OH for over 40 years before relocating to Huntersville, NC. Jean worked in data processing for Automatic Sprinkler, Republic Steel, and McNicholas Transfer Trucking prior to retiring. Jean loved cooking, gardening, and started a flower & craft business.
Jean was a member of Davidson United Methodist Church in Davidson, NC.
A memorial service will be held at the Poland United Methodist Church, Poland, OH on Tuesday, May 14th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the American Heart Association in her memory.
